What's so exciting about that
See I am older I remember when NYC was a real party town
We didn't go out till 3 am they had mega clubs in Manhattan
Paradise garage 54 Bonds international ECT
This stuff is corny compared to the old days
We call these people tourist
It use to be the city that never sleeps
It hasn't been that in 20 years
Thanks to gentrification
I am an Arab, I want to go only to America, but I can’t. I do not have American citizenship. Someone who does good works to make a request to enter America
PACK IT UP PETER PARKER
I know where I’m going with my friends when we turn 21.
Beautiful!! Thank you for sharing I would like to go to the bar that has the 1920s vibe
Do you have to make a reservation for the backroom?
dude at $16 it can't be well worth it.
Always liked the Campbell Apartment and Chumley’s. I believe the pandemic has closed Chumley’s for good. Used to drink there as a college student in the mid 1980’s.
Milk and Honey was the original. You could only get a reservation if you had the phone number and the phone number was only given out with a reservation.
It’s my dream to make it to New York!
Prices are fuck3d up, haven't change the last time I was there. Freaking expensive (more expensive in Miami) Hard to believe that if you go to Mexico's better bar beer it's 2.5 bucks, and it's expensive bc usually beers cost 1 usd
Awesome! 🥸 inspiring for our home bar 🍸🍾
Nice video man, also love me a Belgian Palm beer! Will check out some of these bars
1:45 if u bring a date here, they will think you are a serial killer. This place is so creepy and a terrible first date spot (unless ur meeting up with a 2, then this would be great cuz it’s so dark)
Phones are prohibited and cameras are okay ??
This is some Gatsby shit right here
I just realised all of these speakeasies remind me of Harry Potter especially PDT. It’s like walking through platform 9and 3 quarters. Going through PDT looks like entering the ministry of magic
You look like Berlin ( Money heist )
Y u look like berlin from money heist?
I need someone form use 00989165232371
Beautiful video
I’ve been to PDT can’t wait to go back and visit the others.
I loved this video especially the sunshine laundromat.
Great stuff! A couple I’ve been to but several I haven’t. Thanks!
check out @speakeasycentral on instagram for more great speakeasies in NYC
I found out about your channel today… after watching a few videos, I suscribed! Great and thorough job on the recommendations 🙂 I'll visit Washington (I couldn't find any video on this city… is there one I missed?) and Philadelphia (I'll make sure to visit Geno's) for the first time in April and will also go back to NYC so as a second-timer, I'll make sure to hit more local spots. I've been to the Backroom the first time and it was a great experience (my mom was freaking out when she saw the creepy alley and kept saying: "There is no way it's here" haha) so I think I'll try Bathtub Gin this time.
Ahhh theres way more than these, sad part about it is the drinks, some go for like 17 just for a beer or mixed drink. I guess their overhead is insane.
Yesssssss bitch jazz clubs are awesome, one day I'm gonna hang in one in nyc
Stop by the speakeasy I work at in Brooklyn Le Boudior. Use to be underground tunnels now designed after Marie Antoinettes bedroom chambers in Versailles.
I called UES they said jeans are allowed and no dress code on Sundays
Great video thanks
There are so many speakeasies in NYC but I hadn't heard of the laundromat. Thanks for the tip. Also, I agree that the drinks are delicious at bathtub gin. Only wish there wasn't a bouncer outside of the coffee shop. And I'm still trying to get through to the reservation line at pdt! Lol
💖
Do they allow tourist in, or do they keep the locals only vibe?
We had a wonderful time at bath tube gin!!! Thank you !!!
Great list. Been to all but the Laundromat one. As someone else noted, I’d include Angel’s Share, though it’s not well hidden. At UES, I didn’t need to ask for the storage room. They just said I needed to find the switch to get in.
Great Channel
Visited Bathtub Gin and Please Don’t Tell this week, they were both EXCELLENT! Thanks for the review, we never would’ve tried these places if I hadn’t seen your video.
Side note, a bar across from PDT called Bua is actually pretty nice too!
What's the point of these businesses being hidden?
I'll be going to the laundry!
